Trending: Frat Hounds

I was going through my Pinterest feed (which I may do way too often). I came across a new trend from TFM: frat hounds. I thought these photos are extremely adorable (especially since I am a huge dog lover) and I wanted to share some of these photos and their clever captions with all of you!

1/2/3/4

1. Frat Hound's first beer. #TFM
Can we just take a moment to realize how adorable this black labrador puppy is? I think it is just so cute how this photo is staged!
2. Teaching the frat hound to play flip cup. #TFM
Once again, what an adorable puppy! How they managed to stage this photo amazes me!
3. Even the Frat Hound holds a position in the house. "Sorority Relations". #TFM.
This black lab is literally so freaking cute! Of course this frat hound would have the position of Sorority Relations. What sorority wouldn't want to have events with that pup?
4. Frat hound came prepared to Pikearitaville #TFM
This chocolate lab is just too entertaining! We have the Pike Fraternity at my school and they really do love to wear Hawaiian shirts (whether it's to class or a party), so this dog definitely is representing Pike!

#throwbackthursday

Photographs are meant to capture moments and create memories that will never be forgotten.

Top left photo- This is a throwback from my last day home before my first year of college.

Top right photo- This is from my first time ever visiting the great city of Chicago! I have so many good memories from that trip so of course I had to add it to my Throwback Thursday.

Bottom left photo- This is from one of my many trips to Puerto Rico to visit my family. It was taken in Cabo Rojo. I definitely recommend visiting there.

Bottom right photo- Kayaking is one way of relieving my stress and this is from my first kayak trip to Jonathan Dickinson State Park.

Choco takes on blogging!

When one of my sisters, Stephanie, asked me if I wanted to be a guest on her blog, my ears perked up and I couldn’t stop wagging my tail. Of course! I am quite the talker so this brought me so much happiness.

Before I met my human family, I was living in Loxahatchee, Florida. One of my parents was a black lab and the other one was a yellow lab. I was the calm one compared to all of my hyperactive siblings. My human dad came to pick me up and took me to my new home, where I met Stephanie, Frances (my other sister), and my mom! I was really shy and enjoyed hiding under the sofa.

How old am I, you ask? I am 11 years old, but don’t let my age (and my white hairs) fool you. When I meet someone new or a family friend comes to visit, I get very excited and start running and jumping around the house. Don’t think I’ll let you leave your visit at the Palmer residence without rubbing my belly. I am almost 100 pounds (yes, I’m a little overweight, but what can I say, I love treats), but don’t let my size scare you off, I’m really the most lovable dog every (at least that is what I’ve been told).  In the neighborhood, I am known as the socialite of the neighborhood. Everyone loves me!

However, when I’m at home with just my family, I spend my days lounging around. I really enjoy taking naps on the sofa— that’s my favorite. When I go outside, I enjoy sunbathing (I guess I got that from my sisters). I also love when we take family trips to the beach! I love playing in the sand and taking a little dip in the water. I may be a Labrador, but I’m surprisingly not much of a swimmer.

Well it’s getting close to my dinnertime, so I need to go bother Stephanie to prepare my food.
Woof woof,

Choco

Trending Now: Starbucks

I was looking through trending topics on twitter to get some inspiration for a blog post. Starbucks is a trending topic. I'm sure you have all heard of the rise in prices of coffee. The typical "white girl" loves her Starbucks coffee, but is she going to be able to buy her coffee as frequently as she used to? Is the price raise in coffee really such a bad thing?

I have a friend that drinks coffee three times a day! If that doesn't yell coffee addict, then I don't know what does.

According to the Mayo Clinic, drinking too much coffee does have its risks. Drinking too much coffee can increase your possibility to have heart disease. Sure, there are benefits for drinking coffee. Knowing this information, I think the price raise is a good idea. People need to limit the amount of coffee they drink. If the price of coffee is raised, then people may stop drinking it excessively, which will help with their health.
